Head Coach Women’s Gymnastics

Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing leadership for all aspects of the Women’s Gymnastics Program.
• Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with NCAA, ECAC, and University regulations.
• Successful completion of NCAA certification exam.
• Identifies, evaluates, and recruits academically prepared students in accordance with University policies and NCAA regulations.
• Provides academic oversight of student athletes to ensure retention and graduation.
• Arranges all aspects of scheduling, team travel, etc.
• Maintains open and harmonious communications with all facets of the campus community.
• Maintains fiscal responsibility and integrity.
• Participates in community, campus, and departmental initiatives when appropriate.
• Timely submission of all required requests/paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• An earned master’s degree preferred for coaches and five (5) years of appropriate professional level experience.
• Commitment in following the letter and spirit of NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations.
• Ability to effectively work with a diverse population of student athletes and coaches in a cultural climate that celebrates diversity.
