Job Summary

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

• The duties and responsibilities of the Head Women's Volleyball coach include, but not limited to program and staff oversight, coaching, recruiting and the development of student-athletes
• Preparing and monitoring the volleyball program budget
• Assisting in planning strategies that promote the program across the University and among key stakeholders, including alumni and parents;
• Improving the program in ways that support team unity
• Monitoring the academic progress and social performance of student-athletes
• Adhearing to NCAA, MEAC and University rules, regulations and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Evening and weekend travel is required.

Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position

• Bachelor's degree is required with 3 to 5 years experience in coaching volleyball, preferably at the collegiate level.


• Must have expertise in the technical aspects of volleyball;


• must be able to work effectively with college student-athletes, staff and other stakeholders;


• must show a demonstrated ability to work with and motivate student-athletes academically.
