If you are a motivated man or woman who has a desire to spend a very special summer working with children, then consider a summer at Greylock! Each year we assemble a staff of dedicated individuals from around the country and world who are looking to learn and grow while positively impacting the lives of children.

We seek caring, empathetic individuals to fill open positions for this summer. Each male staff member has a dual role: (1) living in a cabin with at least one other counselor as well as campers and (2) teaching in an activity area. Female applicants will not live with campers but will serve as essential members of our administrative, support, and health center staff. All applicants will go through a thorough criminal background and reference check, as well as have a one-on-one telephone interview with a director. A minimum of one year of college is required of all applicants.

Greylock has strong programs in a variety of activities, including: archery, baseball, basketball, climbing wall, canoeing, creative arts, drama, fencing, flag football, golf, hiking, inline-hockey, lacrosse, mountain biking, ropes course/zip line, sailing, soccer, swimming, tennis, and waterskiing. We also hire individuals for nursing and office positions.

Greylock is located about two hours west of Boston and about two and a half hours north of New York City , so it is easily accessible by car, plane, bus, or train. Come join one of the nation’s premier residential summer camps for boys.

About Camp Greylock:

Located in the Berkshire mountains of western Massachusetts, Camp Greylock is among the nation's oldest and most prestigious residential sports camps.

We offer advanced sports instruction while emphasizing positive reinforcement and traditional values. Each summer, Greylock is home to over 400 boys ages 6-16 and 240 staff members from across the U.S. and around the world. We focus on individual and team sports, with excellent programs in drama, creative arts, water sports, nature and outdoor adventure as well.

We are currently seeking counselors for our upcoming season. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who enjoys working with children. We are looking to assemble an exceptional group of caring counselors and experienced coaches/instructors to lead our campers. You will take on two distinct roles: both as a bunk counselor and as an instructor in a specific sport or activity area.

Camp dates are mid-June through mid-August. We offer a competitive salary, a beautiful outdoor work environment, and a great way to spend the summer; room, board, and travel allowance are included. We are looking for coaches in the following areas: basketball, baseball, soccer, flag football, tennis, golf, roller hockey, swimming, water skiing, sailing, boating, outdoor adventure, electronics workshop, drama, creative arts, woodshop, archery, fencing, and weightlifting.
