Middle/Upper School, Physical Education and Wellness Teacher

Job Summary

This is a full time teaching position for a passionate educator with a strong background in physical education, health and fitness/wellness programs at both the middle and upper school levels. The position also includes two seasons of coaching in the athletic department, which may require the candidate begin in mid-August, 2020.  

Responsibilities:

In addition to teaching a full load of classes, the position includes:

• Teaching middle school health and physical education classes
• Teaching upper school courses related to group exercise and fitness
• Serve as an advisor to a small group of middle school students
• Coach two seasons of athletics (options include: Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Softball)
• Supervision of the girl’s locker room
• Other duties, as assigned
