Graduate Assistant Coach for Women’s Tennis

Job Summary

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the tennis program
• Assist in group and individual practices and weight room workouts.
• Assist in the management of social media communications
• Assist in transportation of student-athletes and other staff to and from competitions and other events
• Assist in all phases of competitive NCAA compliant recruiting
• Conduct inventory and organization of equipment
• Assist in the directing of camps and clinic offering, which will include planning, advertising, and instruction
• Assist in the team’s academic monitoring of the progress of the student athletes
• Conduct video coordination, match play planning, and roster management 
• Coordinate and create community service opportunities for the team
• Have a willingness to interact with the residents and fans of Javelina Nation
• All other duties are assigned by the coach and athletic department

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must meet criteria for admission to College of Graduate Studies 
• Demonstrated successful coaching techniques
• Division I or higher tennis playing background is preferred
