Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of the underlying business of all departments


• Identify areas for cost improvements/revenue opportunities


• Assist in improving the overall budgeting process, including deeper cost analysis and more timely information


• Review financial reports and presentations for reporting to the Board of Governors and Advisory Finance Committee

• Support the Senior Director, Finance on projects as needed


• Ad hoc business reporting and analysis as needed


• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree


• 3+ years of experience


• Strong financial and accounting skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing


• Ability to build strong working relationships with multiple senior executives and staff


• Diligence and persistence in obtaining necessary information


• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities


• Adherence to confidentiality


• High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance


• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment


• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
