Program Aide Strength & Conditioning

Job Summary

Required Education and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related field
• Prior experience in a college athletics setting

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• C.S.C.S. or S.C.C.C.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to demonstrate and teach Olympic movements and basic barbell exercises

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in exercise science or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist staff in the implementation of assigned sports performance programs
• Proper set up/ breakdown of training equipment
• Maintenance and upkeep of the facilities to ensure a safe training environment
• Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations
• Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised
• Actively coaching and teaching, and demonstrating proper movement and lifting technique
• Coaching small training groups independently and performs other duties as assigned
