Director of Operations, Women's Basketball

Job Summary

This position exists to provide direct assistance to the Head Women's Basketball Coach to assist with the day-to-day non-coaching responsibilities.

The Director of Operations will be expected to work directly with the head coach and other support staff areas to within the department to effectively promote and market both the women's program and the Head Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university plus minimum one (1) year comparable professional experience.  In addition, candidates should possess the following:
• An understanding of the game of Women's Basketball and athletic administration
• Knowledge of all applicable NCAA rules and regulations
• Managerial and organizational skills related to office, practice, travel, games, and equipment management
• Computer program skills such as email, word processing, photoshop, etc.
• Strong community relations skills to develop and foster university, community, and student relations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and positively influence student-athletes in academics as well as in Women's Basketball
