Associate Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

1. Demonstrate working knowledge of systems and applications that help our team with the day to day business in addition to providing support and training.


2. Act as a liaison between internal business partners and the software development team to ensure best solutions are possible, determined, and implemented.


3. Create and execute test cases to include regression, integration and load testing on lower level and production environments and provide defect reporting


4. Collaborate and communicate with project team in requirements definition, documentation, defining metrics and testing defects.


5. Analyze and communicate business partners needs by translating business requirements into software requirements or user stories.


6. Organize, specify and model requirements to ensure completeness and unambiguity and/or maintain a product backlog and prioritize stories based on business demands.


7. Fundamental awareness of project management phases (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor & Control, Close).


8. Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, and publishing progress reports.


9. Regular attendance at work is an essential job function.

• Bachelor's degree (preferably related to technology) or equivalent work experience

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred


• Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) or Certified SCRUM Product Owner (CSPO) preferred

• 1-2 years of business system analysis (or related) work


• Experience with Agile methodology

• Ability to quickly understand business operations
