Equipment/Operations Intern

Job Summary

• Assists the coaching staff with drills, equipment, and various other tasks during training sessions


• Assists with uniform and equipment inventories, and oversees the inventory records for the team. 


• Oversees uniform and equipment distribution and retrieval at practices and on game day.


• Ensures that all uniforms and related apparel and equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition


• Assists with the coordination of all game day equipment preparations and setup for games.


• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Working knowledge of the game of soccer


• Knowledge of athletic supplies and equipment


• Ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse group of staff, athletes, and the community in a service oriented environment


• Organizing and coordinating skills.


• Detail oriented


• Ability to work successfully as both a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision

• Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking up to four (4) hours per day.


• Work environment indoor and outdoor. Outdoor environment involves exposure to various weather conditions such as hot and cold temperatures, rain, and dust.
