Academy Equipment Coordinator

Job Summary

•   Manage the daily equipment needs during Academy team practice


•   Manage the Academy locker rooms at the Merch Health Training Center


•   Oversee Academy team travel equipment inventory and logistics


•   Travel with the Academy teams (when required) and perform all equipment related logistics on the road


•  Work alongside 1st Team Equipment Managers during the equipment ordering process


•  Attend weekly Soccer Operations Staff Meetings

•  Bachelors or Associates degree sports administration or other similar areas of academic accomplishment.


•  Experience working in the sports industry preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


•  Detail and deadline-oriented multi-tasker


•  Positive upbeat attitude


•  Able to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision


•  Able to communicate well with coaching staff and other members of the club to organize field schedules


•  Work in a team environment to accomplish common goals


•  Consistently be at work on time


•  Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment and make decisions under pressure


•  Possess excellent personal quality of honesty, integrity, credibility, strong work ethic


• Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings within a professional team atmosphere.

• Ability to work in various positions, including but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time


•  Ability to push, pull and lift approximately 20 - 50 pounds of weight throughout the work day


•  Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
