Assistant Baseball Coach, NCAA

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Duties include, but are not limited to coaching and recruiting qualified student athletes including use of recruiting software, fundraising, camp operations, scouting, film breakdown, video exchange and associated software, developing community support for the program, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Fifteen percent of the position will be assigned to help the Athletic Department’s needs. 

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
• Minimum one (1) year coaching experience on the collegiate level or high school level
• Demonstrated recruiting ability
• Ability to work weekends & evenings and also to travel
• Knowledge of computer applications for recruiting and video exchange and breakdown
• Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience coaching hitters
• Successful recruiting experience
