Job Summary
Responsible for prevention, evaluation, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses associated with athletes involved in intercollegiate athletics.
- Implement rehabilitation and treatment programs for intercollegiate athletes utilizing exercise rehabilitation and modalities.
- Evaluate, assess, and treat injuries sustained to intercollegiate athletes. Including appropriate documentation.
- Facilitate athlete referrals for care through physicians, surgeons, therapists, and specialists.
- Prep athletes for competition or practice through taping, bandaging, stretching, bracing, or other forms of injury risk management.
- Collect, compile, and facilitate athlete physical participation status forms. Including orthopedic assessment to evaluate for risk management.
- OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Athletic Training degree (may also be obtained through a master's degree program)
- BOC certification in Athletic Training
- NYS Licensure
- CPR/AED/First Aid
- 2-3 years working in athletic training
- NATA certified
