Automotive Mechanic

Job Summary

• Maintain a stable of cars (collector cars and everyday drivers) both inside and out. 


• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles


• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance


• Ensure they are clean and drive ready for owner pickup. 


• Have experience with race cars, as the owner owns a few race cars.


• Understand boats and RV’s, and be able to trailer as needed.


• Manage a shop including tools, extra car parts, racing equipment, etc.

• Minimum 5 years experience


• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.


• A capacity to creatively solve problems as they arise 


• Ability for occasional travel 


• Excellent communication skills


• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments


• Ability to drive non-commercial truck and trailer


• Automotive Technology/Technician Degree or equivalent experience
