Job Summary
This role reports directly into the Chief Technology Officer. This is a hands-on position which involves extensive coding and DevOps experience. You will be asked to set a high example of excellent work, leadership, and ownership skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, and 10 or more years relevant work experience is required
- Experience designing highly scalable systems using modern software development practices and TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Extensive experience with DevOps on AWS
- Well versed and recent experience using Node.js, microservices, REST, GraphQL, and MongoDB
- Extremely knowledgeable and proficient in the latest React design patterns
- Highly skilled in CSS (SCSS), HTML5, JavaScript (ECMAScript 2015-2019), TypeScript
- Proven experience in high-level Object Oriented programming languages, such as Java/C++
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and data structures
- Excellent leadership, communication abilities, and ability to lead and mentor
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Big Data, ML
- Serverless (Lamda) development experience
- Experience with a Headless CMS such as Strapi CMS
- Experience with Next.js
- Interest in Gaming and Streaming Platforms
