Job Summary



 

The Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for all facets of the Sports Medicine Office and administering proper care, prevention, training and support for the college's 15 NCAA Division III teams.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries; short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries; education and counseling of student-athletes; and, daily medical coverage or coordination of coverage for all practices and home competitions, including visiting teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certification in athletic training by the NATABOC
  • Certification in first aid, CPR and AED
  • New York State Board License (or be eligible).
