Pick Mod Manager

Job Summary

• Manage all wholesale and retail/ecomm order fulfillment and priority.


• Ensure accurate product is being picked for proper customer(s). 


• Perform quality checks on orders being picked.


• Responsible for end of day procedures (clearing open picking work).


• Trouble shoot problem orders and correct utilizing proper quality measures.


• Assist in directing/designing/implementing staffing processes for hiring seasonal/part time employees.


• Drive a performance-based environment, metric driven by utilizing/analyzing real time data.


• Drive continuous improvement by training to ensure standards of excellence. 


• Communication role with management regarding daily picking totals and recap.


• Understanding of conveyor belt and line to assist as needed.


• Liaison between inbound, packing, and shipping areas of the warehouse (understanding the entire process).


• Maintain inventory levels of all supplies needed for the pick mod including boxes, tape and labels.


• Manage staff, proper on-boarding/training of daily responsibilities and maintain weekly hours.


• Maintain cleanliness of pick mod area/zones.


• Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Warehouse Operations Manager.

• Previous administrations and warehouse experience.


•  Proficient in Microsoft Office.


• Physical working requirements-lifting, standing, walking, bending.


• Able to simultaneously manage a very high level of detail across multiple projects.


• Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.


• Able to work well within a team environment, helping and support to team members whenever necessary.


• Able to work Monday - Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm with flexibility for irregular hours and occasional overtime.
