Job Summary

Develop and direct/coach speed, strength, agility, plyometric and conditioning programs for the various intercollegiate athletic programs and student athletes.
Instruct/coach student-athletes in proper nutrition programs.

Administrative duties as assigned by the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Travel is required in and out of state with various varsity sports and it is seasonal.

If work schedule other than 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Training is often scheduled before 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m., to accommodate practice schedules of various sports and class schedules of student-athletes.

Supervising and demonstrating lifting techniques as well as spotting student-athletes is required.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Health, Education, Health & Human Performance or a related field

3 years related experience

C.S.C.S (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or C.S.C.C. (Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach)

Acquire after hire:
Per NCAA - A strength and conditioning coach shall be certified and maintain current certification through a nationally accredited strength and conditioning certification program.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Health, Education, Health & Human Performance or a related field

4 years related experience at Division I level
