Job Summary

 

Statement of Job:

This university is seeking applicants for the full-time, 10-month schedule (second week or beginning of August to the second week or beginning of June) position as Athletic Trainer. This is a fixed length position, beginning as soon as possible and ending June 30, 2022.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Master's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Minimum of two years professional experience in Athletic Training (includes graduate school) 
• Maintain Preceptor role in Athletic Training Education

License/Certifications:

• BOC Certifications  
• State of Maine Athletic Training license (Must obtain by appointment date) 
• Eligible for American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED Instructor Certification(Must obtain within six months of employment) 
• Eligible for American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR and AED Instructor Certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider(Must obtain within six months of employment)
