Ticket Sales Manager
Job Summary
Elizabethton Baseball (Boyd Sports), is currently searching for an enthusiastic motivated individual to join our organization as a Ticket Sales Manager. As a Ticket Sales Manager you will conduct face-to-face meetings about Elizabethton ticket plans and group tickets with important decision makers in the community. This position is responsible for soliciting season tickets, ticket plans, group outings and servicing these clients’ thoroughly. This position will report directly to the General Manager. You will receive training in sales methods that are proven to be successful in this industry and inherit a number of renewable accounts which you are responsible for renewing, upgrading and generating new leads from. Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following: • Sell and service season tickets and ticket plans • Sell and service group outings • Oversee the box office during the months of season • Schedule and manage game day staff workers (with help and approval from GM) • Oversee and aid in the hiring of seasonal interns • Ability to set qualified appointments on a weekly basis • Be aggressive in seeking new business and comfortable with cold calling • Have strong organizational and follow up skills • Meet a personal sales revenue goal by developing new relationships and growing existing relationships • Implement the franchise’s ticket and group sales strategy and procedures • Be responsible for attending Chamber Events, Association Meetings, and other networking events held outside the office and in many cases after normal business offices • Administer superior customer service for all client’s year round • Have excellent communication and presentation skills • Have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a passion to be successful in the sports industry • Work includes flexible hours with night and weekend work in-season necessary • Other duties may be assigned • Report directly to the General Manager
