Job Summary
Summary of Duties:
Under the guidance of team physicians and administrative supervision by the Assistant Director of Athletics for Athletic Medicine, this position coordinates and manages all athletic training services provided to university football student-athletes. Duties include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and case management, as well as supervision of the athletic medicine staff assigned to the football program and facility management of the Cougar Football Complex Athletic Medicine Facility.
Required Qualifications:
- Positions require a Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of demonstrated experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities, including one (1) year of supervisory or program oversight experience. NATA Certification and Adult CPR, First Aid and AED certification required.
- Must be able to obtain a Washington State Athletic Trainer License in two months from hire date.
- Must have the ability to work nights and weekends.
- Must be able to travel frequently with assigned team.
- Must have, or able to obtain, a valid driver's license by time of hire
