Business and Special Projects Manager

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the Athletic Department's overall day-to-day business operations, including but not limited to purchasing, business aspects of event management, ticket sales, and team travel.   In addition, will assist with the planning and execution of special projects, such as but not limited to the hosting of post-season events, Athletic Hall of Fame, Homecoming, and much more.  

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in a professional, high-paced business environment (preferably in a collegiate athletic or University setting). 
• Must be a critical thinker; have excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in successfully managing projects. 
• Business knowledge combined with Microsoft applications experience are essential components for this job.
