Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as program's chief expert in workings of the NCAA Transfer Portal and the player personnel therein
- Responsible for initial program evaluation of athletes within transfer portal, including assessment of skills/abilities and projection into specific scheme and structure
- Must maintain perpetual & thorough vigilance of NCAA Transfer Portal, execute timely and detailed evaluations, and disseminate information to Director of Player Personnel & Coaching Staff with precision and urgency
- Spearhead all information gathering regarding transfer candidates - including remaining eligibility, on-field production, academic performance history, contact information, and biographical details
- Responsible for devising a document that organizes and presents transfer candidates to coaching staff with all collected data and background detail
- Must develop and maintain thorough knowledge of active University roster, must aid in the effort to evaluate/grade current players and project transfer candidates into roles within the program
- Maintain catalog of program's activity within Transfer Portal for regular submission to University Compliance
- Office, as assigned by Director of Player Personnel
- Provide support to high school scouting effort where needed, as assigned by Director of Player Personnel
- Provide all-purpose support to on-campus recruiting visits as assigned by Director of Player Personnel
- Be responsible for Advanced Scout of each PAC12 Opponents using the NFL Model of Advanced Scouting
- Aid in execution of football camps as assigned by Director of Player Personnel and Director of Football Operations

- Thorough knowledge of the recruiting process
- Thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of Pac-12 and University of Arizona rules and compliance
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude
- Strong Organizational skills
- Effective communication and computer skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
