Assistant Athletic Trainer, Department of Athletics

Job Summary

The position will be providing comprehensive/treatment/rehabilitation of injured student athletes.

Duties of the Assistant Athletic Trainer of the Department of Athletics includes, but are not limited to:

• Concussion care plan management
• Preparing for games/travel/emergency preparation
• Helping in the daily supervision/educational instruction of student assistants
• Helping to maintain all OSHA requirements
• Providing daily reports to coaches, other staff
• Other related tasks

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 years work related experience
• NATA certification
• Strong skills communication
• Supplies/equipment knowledge
• Can evaluate therapeutic requirements
• CPR and emergency medical procedures knowledge
