As the Media Planner, you will work closely with the Media Planning Managers to grow the William Hill brand and drive customer acquisition across all jurisdictions where legal sports betting is active.
What You Will Do:
- With a clear understanding of the media planning process and knowledge of offline and online channels
- Analyze data and collaborate with the team on key insights and implications/optimizations (i.e., results reports, competitive assessments, target analysis)
- Track billable spending and delivery daily, and report on campaign pacing across all media channels
- Work with the finance team to shepherd the accruals, payments and media budget maintenance process
- Collaborate on the development of POVs for new media opportunities, on an ongoing basis
- Develop and maintain ongoing sports calendars and workflows for media planning process
- Manage and prioritize ongoing deliverables for William Hill’s media agency
- Coordinate with appropriate internal stakeholders to deliver creative assets in alignment with the media plan
- Brief internal creative team for traditional and digital creative assets
- Traffic and steward creative to appropriate online and offline channels
- Fluent in media math and terminology
- Ability to support team across a multitude of deliverables
- Maintain relationship with internal operational departments and outside vendors to effectively develop all components of the marketing and advertising plan strategies
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience, including Marketing campaign planning, optimization, reporting, and analysis in a professional environment.
- Agency experience preferred
- Experience with traditional and digital media planning and buying applications (e.g. Mediaocean, Prisma, Mediatools, etc.).
- Traditional TV and Radio experience, with Sports specific experience being a real plus
- Experience with local planning a bonus
- Knowledge online and offline media channels including Social, Display, Programmatic, TV, Radio, Print and OOH
- General understanding of traditional and digital traffic and tagging process
- Advanced Excel level
- Strong data manipulation skills
- Strong presentation creation skills
- Robust understanding of media math and ability to apply it to daily work
- Should be comfortable working with any level of leadership
- Knowledge of the gaming Industry or a sports league regulated industry a plus.
