Assistant Director for Facilities, Events and Club Sports

Job Summary

Seeking applications for an Assistant Director for Facilities, Events, and Club Sports.

This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt-level position reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director- Facilities & Events.

The Assistant Director will serve as assistant facility manager for athletic facilities (Health, Wellness & Athletics Complex), game day operations administrator, and intramurals/club sports coordinator.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Assistant AD for Facilities & Events with the management, operations, scheduling and maintenance
• Serve as game day administrator for Varsity Athletic contests, practices and intramural activities on nights and weekends. Primary sport coverage will include Field Hockey, Women's Basketball, Swimming & Diving, Water Polo, Baseball, as well as assisting with Football and Track & Field (indoor and outdoor).
• Assist the Assistant AD for Facilities & Events with overseeing the cleaning, maintenance schedule, work orders, and equipment installation for the Athletic facilities in conjunction with Physical Plant staff and housekeeping contractor (Alpha & Omega).
• Develop/Facilitate and lead campus Intramural & Club Sport Programs.
• Hire, train, manage, and schedule all student employees working in the Intramural Program.
• In partnership with the Office of Student Involvement, Administer the Club Sports program including development/revision of policies, member education, and leadership development.

A bachelor's degree and 1-3 years experience are required. A Master's degree is preferred.
