Performance - Data Science Intern

Job Summary

• Participate actively within the High Performance Department in maximizing the daily performance of elite professional players.


• Manage the integration of current analytical tools into a central data management system 


• Experiment with our datasets to find new relationships between physical data and performance on field.


• Perform regular correlative data studies looking for performance trends


• Explore and create new dashboards and reports to analyze physical health of the players throughout the course of the season.


• Any other duties and projects deemed necessary in your role. 


• Reports directly to the First Team Data Analyst

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Data Analytics, or related fields, required.


• Master’s Degree, or working towards, preferred. 


• Passion for Sport and Data Analytics 


• Demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing large data sets 


• High level of competency with Excel and Tableau 


• Proficient with high level statistical software (SPSS, MATLAB, etc.) 


• Experience with GPS systems preferred (Statsports Apex, etc)
