Business Data Architect

Job Summary

• Work with vendor partners, internal resources and key business stakeholders to develop and maintain a master business information data environment

• Collaborate with Major League Baseball technology and data science teams to integrate customer data from league platforms into the club data environment


• Deliver information to the organization in support of business strategy and performance analysis efforts


• Develop operational reporting and provide insights to the organization to support informed decision making


• Ensure information life cycle and access models follow organization and league policies and information security requirements

• 7+ years of hands on data management and / data architecture experience, architecting and integrating and leveraging key business information across all organizational areas


• Demonstrated experience and understanding of cloud data environments such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP, with a preference for GCP experience


• Demonstrated experience delivering reports and data visualizations with PowerBI, Tableau, Looker or other similar platforms, with a strong preference for PowerBI experience


• Strong business acumen and consultative skills, working directly with key business owners and other stakeholders to develop a thorough understanding of business data and deliver data solutions that support accomplishing business objectives


• Experience evaluating and managing vendor partners, discussing options and making recommendations to internal decision maker
