Assistant Coach, Women's Volleyball

Job Summary

Public University located in Virginia is seeking an Assistant Coach for its Women's Volleyball program.

Responsibilities:

• Promote the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletes including adhering to all Departmental, University, A10 Conference and NCAA rules and regulations;
• Assist with developing and implementing recruiting strategy. Assist in off campus scouting and evaluating of talent in prospective student-athletes:
• Assist in coordinating team travel including team meals, itinerary planning, bus and flight transportation, and coordinating final details of hotel reservations;
• Participate in the collection and analysis of tactical and statistical data of opponent tendencies and assist in designing scouting reports and strategies;
• Participate in video analysis with student athletes including individual film, positional film and overall team film;
• Help run and participate in clinics, exhibitions, and camps as approved by the university;
• Represent the Department at professional, civic, charitable and alumni events, as requested;
• Must be committed to the academic goals of the university and to helping each student-athlete in their pursuit of academic success .
