Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director, Chief Operating Officer

Departmental Operations 

• Responsible for direct oversight of the internal operations and infrastructure of the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics.
• Assist the Director of Athletics in forming the short- and long-term strategic vision and goals of the DIA, along with managing the day-to-day operations of the DIA, all within the philosophy and direction of the Director of Athletics,
• Work closely with Division of Intercollegiate Athletics units, campus departments, and other constituents to assist the department in meeting objectives.
• Maintain oversight of department heads with day-to-day management of the Business Office, Sports Technology, Facilities, and Human Resources functions.
• Management of key business unit functions, including, but not limited to, camps and clinics, Atkins Tennis Center, Atkins Golf Club, Orange and Blue Golf Course, and the Armory.
• Provide consistent communication between DIA administration, coaching staff, and internal units.
• Oversee quality control and risk management initiatives to include an ongoing assessment to examine the complex policies, procedures and processes applicable to DIA's Business Office, Sports Technology, Facilities, and Human Resources efforts.

Administrative Liaison Support

• Develop effective and trusting partnerships with DIA staff, including coaches, and internal operations units, to drive better coordination and collaboration amongst departments in order to optimally address student-athlete and staff needs.
• Serve as a liaison with University and Campus Administration (Chancellor's Office, OBFS, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Legal Counsel).
• Serve as a member of the Director of Athletics' Executive Staff.
