Job Summary

Overview:

The Green Bay Gamblers Ticketing and Group Sales Account Manager will be responsible for generating revenue by identifying and calling on local business leaders, community-oriented groups and patrons who attend multiple games.  You will be responsible for selling and organizing season tickets, group tickets, group theme night events, and VIP experiences. You will also be asked to create new events and promotions as well as enhancing our current offerings.  Applicants will be expected to utilize cold calls, face-to-face meetings and email marketing as methods for building lasting relationships with prospective clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience is required
  • 2-3 years experience in ticketing, group sales, season ticket sales, suite or sponsorship sales preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Time management skills are crucial.
  • Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in sports.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Have the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Ticketing software knowledge a plus.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Come up with new and creative ideas to highlight promotions, our players and coaches via social media outlets.
  • Interview coaches and players during the week and after games.
  • Write postgame recaps and press releases for upcoming games and events.
  • Help to promote the Gamblers brand at various events and locations.
  • Assist the marking team in promoting upcoming games.
  • Work with local media outlets to promote the Gamblers.
  • Work at least 90% of home games including any potential playoff games (mostly weekends and holidays).
  • Assist with any pre and post-game activities (Set up, tear down, giveaways, etc.).
  • Be able to work 10 to 20 office hours per week as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
