Assistant Athletics Director for Strategic Communications

Job Summary

The Assistant Athletics Director for Strategic Communications serves as a dynamic thought leader within the Departments of Athletics. Oversees all public relations, strategic communications and marketing, and brand development for a comprehensive athletics department inclusive of Division I men’s and women’s ice hockey and 15 Division II sports programs.

The position focuses on aligning departmental public relations and athletics communications with marketing, promotions, and ticketing initiatives. Incumbent will oversee day-to-day operations of the athletics communications department, including creating consistency among brand channels to ensure appropriate tone and voice in all communications, promotions, and marketing pieces.
