Job Summary
Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities
The Athletic Trainer for Recreational Sports provides evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for student participants in the sport club program, which encompasses approximately 39 clubs and 1,500 participants annually.
This position has responsibilities related to policy and program development, assists with department-wide risk management initiatives, schedules and manages a staff of part-time Athletic Trainers who deliver on-site services, and may provide support to other areas of the Recreational Sports Department as needed. The Athletic Trainer for Recreational Sports reports to the Assistant Director for Structured Sports and Outreach.
