Our clients — Fortune 500 brands, professional teams, global agencies, and media — use MVP as the standard for benchmarking sponsorship performance, understanding audiences, and deciding where and how to run campaigns.

We are looking for a Digital Media Intern to assist in the execution of paid digital advertising campaigns leveraging data insights from the MVP Audience platform. The Digital Media Intern will work alongside the media team to serve our portfolio of sports, entertainment, and brand clients. This is a hands-on role that requires involvement from big picture strategy through planning, execution and reporting of all campaigns. It requires both strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and a passion for the ever-evolving media and technology landscapes.

This unpaid, summer internship will entail five (5) to fifteen (15) hours of work per week during the months of September through December 2021. We are accepting applications from both remote and on-location candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn standard methodologies for how to develop a successful strategic paid media plan
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign results and make recommendations on how to optimize campaign performance
  • Gain experience building, managing, and optimizing paid media campaigns towards client goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with others in the media department to analyze, build, and communicate campaign performance insights
  • Assist with the monthly billing process
  • Provide ideas and feedback to help continuously improve our team’s processes
  • Research how emerging social networks and features can benefit our company

 Skills/Experience:

  • Must have completed at least two years of study with a focus on an advertising (or related) degree at an accredited college, or equivalent work experience within the digital media space
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms or digital marketing campaign
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Keen attention to detail; you proofread your grocery lists...twice
  • Time management
  • Adaptable
  • Highly organized
  • Self-motivated

It’s a Plus if You Have:

  • Ad platform or paid media buying experience
  • Additional qualifications in digital technologies or social media management
