Our clients — Fortune 500 brands, professional teams, global agencies, and media — use MVP as the standard for benchmarking sponsorship performance, understanding audiences, and deciding where and how to run campaigns.

Our Marketing Intern role is a position focused on supporting all functions of the Marketing department. This is an opportunity to take on the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of technology and sports.

This unpaid, summer internship will entail twenty (20) to forty (40) hours of work per week during the months of September and December 2021. Initially, this role will be remote, however, it may transition to an on-location internship when MVP secures its next office space in Austin.

 Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm and collaborate on marketing projects, including but not limited to: social media campaigns, email marketing campaigns, and long-form thought leadership content
• Lead research projects for marketing and sales initiatives such as email marketing list creation and relational data visualization
• Attend marketing and sales meetings in a note-taking capacity
• Other ad hoc projects depending on what is needed, your skillset, and areas of interest

Skills/Experience:

• Must have completed at least two years of an undergraduate program with a focus on marketing (or related) degree at an accredited college or university
• General personal knowledge of social media platforms - LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
• Interest and/or familiarity with sports in general or sports marketing specifically
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Excitement about working in a small start-up where things move quickly
