Job Summary


 
The Social Media Specialist will develop promotions/giveaways and will be responsible for proactively monitoring campaign performance to determine when changes are required to meet goals. In addition, the Social Media Specialist will follow daily performance, follower, and engagement updates across all social media channels.
 
 
Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and update content for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yelp, Google Business, and TikTok

  • Maintain timely communication with followers, and serve as the first point of contact for visitors

  • Act as public-facing representative of the organization and communicate on behalf of the organization online and in-person

  • Directly work with event promoters and leaders to effectively promote events
  • Pitch, develop, and execute video features for social media accounts

  • Cover all events in real-time autonomously, including shooting, editing, and publishing video and photo content

  • Identify and understand social media trends and new networks
  • Track and analyze campaign performance and provide detailed reports with strategy plan
  • Maintain professional composure while responding to crises and sensitive situations

  • Monitor and report social activity throughout a crisis and adjust plans as needed based on real-world learning

  • Strong initiative in thinking “outside of the box” with a will-do attitude.

  • Manage projects from start to finish while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Craft and pitch content for sponsor integration

  • Attend off-site events to produce content and coverage (when necessary)

  • Increase social media followers and engagement in a quality manner

  • Communicate building and venue related policies effectively to the public through digital channels

  • Lead social campaigns via cultural moments, marketing in the moment, and key campaign initiatives

  • Develop influencer campaigns including planning, including contract and pricing management

  • Collaborate with the graphic design team to monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews/reputation management for the property within established guidelines

  • Monitor influencer campaigns to engage and amplify content
  • Lead social calendar meetings with key members of the marketing team

  • Assist other departments with relative work as requested
