Job Summary

  

The Director of Digital with join the Media team to support the growth of the digital platforms and products.  Additionally, this role will manage digital partners and monitor trends, new emerging technology and opportunities. 

 

Duties include the following:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels within the organization and with our clubs and partners

  • Contribute to the development of digital strategy, policies, and best practices in support of digital performance and commercial opportunities
  • Work closely with digital partners to introduce new digital platforms and tools

  • Collaborate with internal departments to outline goals, content plans, and support digital activation around tent-pole events including but not limited to Rivalry Week, All-Star, Decision Day, etc.
  • Work with digital analytics teams to monitor and track significant metrics to capture potential opportunities and mitigate challenges

  • Manage hiring and onboarding process by interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  • Develop and implement department procedures and productivity standards and reinforce Company policies

  • Develop personal growth opportunities for employees

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned 

 

Requirements:


  • Analytical abilities skills to gather key business and user insights

  • Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Omniture, Chartbeat) and traffic patterns

  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), trends and analytics platforms (Shareablee, Socialbakers, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights)

  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS

  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems

  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail

  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally

  • Demonstrated decision making and solutions oriented

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
