Assistant Coach - Baseball

Job Summary

The Baseball program is committed to helping the team achieve its highest potential by focusing on each student-athlete's holistic development in a competitive and positive environment while upholding the core values and integrity of the program. Successful candidates will possess self-motivation, communication and organizational skills, and a passion for coaching and mentorship of a diverse student-athlete population.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the head coach with:
• Planning and execution of all practices, with duties specific to pitchers and catchers
• Recruitment of student-athletes
• Clinic organization and planning
• Social media and alumni events
• Liaison with equipment room
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and collegiate playing or coaching experience required
• 1 + year collegiate baseball coaching preferred
• Pitching and or catching background preferred
• Knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA Division III policies is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competence
• Valid driver's license is required
