Job Summary

The Software Developer will build and maintain internal systems and solutions to foster a data-rich environment and to support decision-making for all aspects of football operations. The developer will collaborate closely with members of football operations, to understand their needs and drive the design and development of software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain internal web applications for football operations personnel

Collaborate with users to determine requirements for new features and tools

Document code and systems thoroughly

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

2+ years of software development experience

Required Skills

Experience building web applications

Proficiency with object-oriented programming languages and concepts and an ability to write lean code

Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server

Exposure to cloud computing, storage, warehousing, and serverless web applications on AWS

Experience with software development tools and processes– source control, code reviews, agile development

An understanding of football and desire to learn about football analytics
