Job Summary
The Head Athletic Trainer will report directly to the Technical Director and work collaboratively with the Performance and Team Physician Director.
Competencies and Skills Required:
- Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical effort is required for practice/game preparation and positioning athletes' bodies during emergency care, management, and rehabilitation.
- Experience working with high-level professional athletes (preferred)
- Experience working within a soccer environment and understanding of typical soccer-related injuries (Preferred but not necessary)
- Openness to multi-disciplinary approaches to rehab, recovery, and performance
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic training or related field
- NATABOC (or CATA) Certified Athletic Trainer and in good standing
- Must be eligible for licensure in California
- Possess state licensure as a certified athletic trainer
- A minimum of 3 years of athletic training experience
- Familiar with FRS, FRC, FRA thought processes/practices
