Job Summary

The Assistant Director is responsible for fostering a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness throughout all levels of the organization, including but not limited to, staffing, programming, and education.

 Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations governing intercollegiate athletics.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Experience in planning, executing, and facilitating small and large interactive events.
• Demonstrates an understanding and consideration of the differing needs and concerns of individuals with varying identities, cultures, and backgrounds.
• Committed to fostering a workplace culture of belonging, where diversity is celebrated, and equity is a core value.
• Prior experience building and facilitating leadership programming preferred.
• Experience as a student-athlete and/or coach preferred.
• Demonstrates an understanding and consideration of the differing needs and concerns of individuals with varying identities, cultures, and backgrounds.
