Job Summary

The position will require using a risk based, intelligence led approach with emphasis on data capture and incident tracking.  The role will also rely heavily on intentional and robust communication and information sharing between internal and external stakeholders.

Position duties:

• Oversee and manage the Soccer Security Agent program related to the new professional league, to include scheduling and logistics


• Share risk assessment information with SSAs and stakeholders before the fixtures


• Gather Post-Match safety and SSA reports to properly documents opportunities or challenges


• Assist with recruiting and training new SSAs in non-traditional markets


• Primary point of contact on matchdays, including weekends for SSAs deployed


• Liaise with Clubs and internal stakeholders to coordinate various meetings, conference calls, and other periodic engagements.


• Provide support to Security Department personnel as needed

• Facilitate relationships at the market/ venue level


• Ensure a fair and consistent application of current standards across all markets


• Utilize a risk assessment process to help clubs/ venues with the safety and security of their events


• Additional responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree


• Knowledge of event security, risk assessment methodology, and information sharing


• Knowledge of National Incident Management System (NIMS) preferred


• 5+ years of experience


• Knowledge of event security


• Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


• Demonstrated decision making and solutions oriented


• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision


• Must be open to travel and working non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
