Safety & Compliance Manager

Job Summary

• Oversee all aspects of safety committee including serving as Chairperson, regular review and updating of all safety plans and conducting regular site inspections for safety compliance. Facilitating safety committee to train, investigate and address accident and injury reports.


• Monitor regulatory process to identify future applicable regulations and their impact on operations


• Create and maintain physical and electronic library of all inspection documentation.


• Assist with the compliance for emergency generators and the proper documentation of building systems relative to Life Safety.


• Assist with ADA compliance.


• Coordinate the periodic insurance carrier site visits and appropriate documentation and follow up.


• Work closely with and coordinate with other managers to ensure safety policies are being adhered to.


• Promote, train, and monitor for compliance with corporate best practices. 


• Conduct frequent facility inspections and note deficiencies and supervise necessary action plans for remediation.


• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ASHRAE, EPA, NEC, etc.
