Job Summary
The Assistant Athletic Director is responsible for managing an athletic training room that services all intercollegiate sports. This position, under general supervision, independently manages and evaluates student-athletes' injuries. It also helps in the process of developing and implementing standard operating procedures, schedules, and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university;
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- BOC certification; State of Kansas Athletic Trainer Licensure or eligible to obtain;
- Current CPR certification; American Red Cross Professional Rescuer or equivalent;
- Evidence of commitment to student-athletes;
- Knowledge of NAIA regulations related to athletic training/intercollegiate athletics;
- 1-3 years of athletic training experience at the collegiate level preferred.
