Cross Country/Distance Head Coach

Job Summary

The position of head coach of the men's and women's cross-country programs. Perform all of the duties associated with being the head coach, including managing meets, events, and practices, as well as following the University's best practices to build and/or support student academic success and retention.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree preferrably in sports related field and Master's degree.

Demonstrated (over 3 seasons/years) of assistant or head coaching experience at the collegiate level

Successful experience in recruiting and retaining student-athletes

Previous experience in athletic administration at the collegiate level

Ability to work flexible hours which includes evenings and weekends. Local and regional  travel required.

Ability to obtain CPR, AED, First Aid certification.

Head coaching experience at the NCAA Division III level preferred.
