Assistant Basketball Coach

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist the head coach in the organization and management of a competitive NCAA Division III women's basketball program. The position's responsibilities will include teaching and coaching student-athletes for successful competition; recruiting prospective students; scouting opponents; and fundraising.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in physical education, kinesiology, education or related field required; master's degree preferred. 
2. 4 years basketball playing and/or coaching experience at the college-level required.
3. Teach, lead and counsel college student-athletes and have enthusiasm for the recruiting duties of the position. 
4. Must be a person of integrity, high ethical standards, excellent interpersonal, and communication skills. 
5. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy and mission of HWS Athletics. 
6. CPR and First Aid certification required.
