Job Summary

The Assistant Athletic Trainer supervises the overall medical care for student-athletes and provides medical coverage for athletic events. It also supervises athletic trainer interns and student athletic trainers in the prevention, care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Responsibilities:

Overall prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and daily health care for assigned student-athletes
Maintaining up to date HIPAA compliant medical records
Administrative tasks assigned by the department leadership
Establishes and executes institutional policies pertaining to the care of the student-athletes
Maintains frequent and effective communication with medical and athletic department staff
