Head Coach- Track & Field and Cross Country

Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing all duties associated with Division I track and field and cross-country programs. Lead the effort to recruit, develop, and retain talented student-athletes. The incumbent will lead a staff of full-time, part-time, and volunteer coaches as well as develop and execute effective practice and competition plans.

Job Duties:

• Lead the development and execution of effective practice and competition plans for track & field and cross country. 
  
• Provide oversight and lead efforts in recruiting and retaining student-athletes.
  
• Manage and oversee administrative duties and operating budgets.
  
• Communicate effectively and timely with coaching staff, support staff, athletes, administration and other relevant parties regarding the program.
  
• Provides other duties as assigned.
