Job Summary

The Event Manager provides professional client service support in the planning, organization, and management of events at the Jackson Convention Complex. The facilities is a division of the company that operates and books arenas, theaters, convention centers, and amphitheaters throughout the U.S.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

Minimum of two years management level experience coordinating events in a multi-purpose facility which services live performances preferred.

Experience in convention centers, arena, theaters, or similar venues.

Working knowledge of the principles of facility management, services, and equipment for a similar facility.

Ability to work under limited supervision and to interact with all levels of staff.
