Assistant, Baseball Information & Communications

Job Summary

The communications department is seeking a full-time baseball information and communications assistant. This position will have a primary focus on baseball information. The ideal candidate will be able to research and provide all baseball-specific written materials for all media guides, press releases, postseason media guides, etc.

Qualifications:

Prior sports experience in media relations or sports information.

Highly knowledgeable in baseball statistics, terminology and rules.

Strong familiarity with MLB teams and players, both current and past.

Highly skilled researcher with experience using baseball statistical databases and search functions.

Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word and Excel.
